In 2019, they embarked on a class that taught the principles of photography, storytelling, and social change. What followed was a collection of reflective photography that examined the physical environment of Hunts Point: the beauty they desired to uplift, the areas they hoped to shift, and the ways they could challenge stereotypes others have placed on their community.
This class was a partnership between the Hunts Point Alliance for Children and the Duke Center for Documentary Studies' Hine Fellowship.
